Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Momentality asks you to share a lot: your calendar, your routines, and details about your kids. We take that seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Momentality LLC ("Momentality," "we," "us") runs the website at momentality.app and the Momentality app, including our assistant, Elle.

Information we collect
When you become a founding member on our website
- Your first name and email address
- Your birthday (month and day), age range, and ZIP code
- How many kids you have, their age ranges, and your work situation
When you pay
Founding member payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your payment and basic billing details, but we do not store your full card number.
When you use the Momentality app
- Calendars and accounts you connect, such as your Apple or Google calendar and email, so Elle can build your morning brief, catch conflicts, and move events when you ask.
- Family details you share, such as your children's first names and ages, routines, and the people in your support circle.
- What you tell Elle by voice or text, including the setup conversation about how your days work.
- Location, only if you turn it on, so Elle can remind you of things as you leave the house and give traffic updates for your route.
- Device and usage information, such as app version, device type, and how features are used, to keep the app working and improve it.
We save text transcripts of your conversations with Elle. We do not save voice recordings.
When you buy merch
Chief Everything Officer™ orders are handled by our Shopify store, and Shopify's privacy policy applies to that checkout.
When you visit our website
We use the Meta Pixel on our website to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and to show our ads to people who may be interested in Momentality. It records things like which pages are viewed and whether someone starts or completes a founding membership sign-up, along with device and browser information. We do not send your name, email, or family details to Meta through the Pixel. You can manage how Meta uses this information in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and you can block cookies in your browser settings.
How we use your information
- To run Momentality and Elle: your morning brief, reminders, conflict detection, event changes, task sharing, and evening wind-down
- To manage your founding membership, including billing
- To email you about your membership, launch updates, and the product (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To answer support requests
- To understand what's working and improve Momentality
- To protect the service and meet legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information or your family's information.
How Elle uses AI
Elle uses artificial intelligence to understand your calendar, messages you send her, and what you share about your family, so she can organize your day and act on your requests.
Elle is powered by AI models from Anthropic (Claude) and xAI (Grok). When you chat with Elle, the content you send her is processed by these providers to generate her responses. Your information is not currently used to train AI models. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and let you know.
Information about children
Momentality is built for parents and caregivers 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
Information about your children, such as names, ages, and schedules, comes from you as the parent or caregiver. We use it only to provide Momentality to you. You can review, change, or delete it at any time.
Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to run Momentality, with:
- Service providers: Google Cloud and Firebase (app hosting, servers, and sign-in, including Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication), Vercel (website hosting), Anthropic and xAI (the AI models that power Elle), ProtectFlow.ai (our technical development team), MailerLite (email and sign-up forms), Stripe (payments), Shopify (merch orders), and Meta (advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel)
- Apple and Google, when you choose to connect your calendar or other accounts
- People you invite, such as a partner or caretaker, who see the tasks and information you choose to share with them
- Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect someone's safety
- A business transfer, if Momentality is ever merged or acquired, with this policy continuing to apply
Google user data
Momentality's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
- Emails: unsubscribe using the link in any email.
- Connected accounts: disconnect your calendar or email in the app at any time.
- Location: turn it off in your phone's settings at any time.
- Your data: ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@momentality.app. To delete your account, see Delete your Momentality account.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state law. Contact us and we'll help.
How long we keep information
Elle draws on up to 30 days of your conversation history to personalize her help. If you delete your account, we delete your information as described on our account deletion page. App usage events and crash reports we keep to improve the app can no longer be tied back to you, and remaining copies, including backups, are erased within 30 days.
How we protect it
Information you send to Momentality is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS, and data stored with Google Cloud and Firebase is encrypted at rest. Sign-in is handled through Firebase Authentication, and access to your data is limited to authorized personnel who need it to run and support the service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if required by law.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top and let founding members know by email.
